Your time is a finite resource and as a leader you need to be strategic and invest it well. So, let us answer some common logistical questions for you.
How many people will be in my leadership cohort?
Your group will have 6-8 people. There’s no magic number for group size in the research. Our goal is for the group to be large enough to provide a healthy diversity of experiences and small enough for each leader to receive individual attention and support for their goals.

Who else will be in my group?
People with similar levels of leadership responsibility from a variety of organizations within the theme of the program you select (eg: nonprofit, women, tech, etc.). Our goal is for you to identify with many of the situations of your cohort but also experience unique challenges and leadership strategies and approaches.
How often will my group meet?
You will meet 1-2 times per month. We will meet more frequently in the first 3 months. In months 4 through 6, we'll meet less often to allow more time for you to put your learning into practice, meet with cohort peers, and also have your individual coaching session.

Where do we meet?
Online via Zoom. You will receive your cohort’s unique meeting schedule and login information.
What is the meeting schedule?
We launch each cohort group with a tentative schedule, and during our first meeting we will open this schedule up to the group for input. If there is a time that can work better for the whole group, for instance your group has multiple time zones, we can offer some flexibility. But we will lock the schedule in after the first meeting for the ease of protecting your time.

Do I need to attend every session?
For your success and the success of your cohort, we do ask that you commit to attending all of the group meetings. Meetings are not recorded to ensure safe, confidential space for open communication.
We are also very realistic and understand that sometimes things arise that require changing these plans, in these cases we ask that you take responsibility for informing the group and catching yourself up on topics covered.

What other activities (besides group meetings) are included each month?
Each month, you’ll receive a variety of materials on relevant leadership topics for you to explore and discuss with your cohort. You will also be applying your learning to situations in your professional capacity and practicing active reflection on your progress and impact. You may have working meetings with other members of the cohort outside the full cohort meetings. And in month 5 you will receive an individual leadership coaching session.
